Mads Suquet was invited to participate in the AWAKENING exhibition alongside an incredible lineup of local artists. Held in Pittsburgh—the city where both Mads lives and Andy Warhol was born—AWAKENING is a powerful exploration of identity, power, and reinvention. Through bold, pop-culture-infused portraits, Mads reimagines cultural icons as if they lived today, stripping away the influence of brands, politics, and status. The exhibition challenges viewers to reflect on what holds power in their own lives and encourages them to reclaim it. Now on view at The Castle in Pittsburgh.
